‘I have known Daniel from SARG (South Australian Roofing Group) for more than 8 years and have used him for all of my roofing work during this time.
I am very happy with his work and the quality of his workmanship is excellent. Daniel is very punctual, reliable, and professional in the way he carries out his jobs.
One thing I particularly appreciate is that he always comes back if needed after the work is completed, whether for changes, adjustments, or rectification of any part of the job. He stands behind his work and makes sure the customer is satisfied.
I would confidently recommend Daniel and SARG to anyone looking for quality roofing work.’

Over time, gutters can fail.
Leaf blockages lead to rust – and falling branches from storms can cause tears or sagging.
But not all replacements are equal.
Your gutter’s profile and gradient need to match your roof’s pitch in line with Australian standards.
If not, you risk water either pooling and stagnating or splashing over during heavy storms (which can damage your fascia and foundations).
We’ve been helping Adelaide homeowners replace old gutters with COLORBOND steel since 2020.

Most Adelaide houses don’t need traditional fascia (the wooden trim that seals your roof cavity).
They’re vulnerable to termites, water damage, and fire.
A better option: integrated fascia gutters.
Made from COLORBOND steel, they look better, last longer, and catch runoff from your roof more effectively than standard guttering.
If your gutters or fascia need replacing, upgrading to fascia guttering could be worth it.

‘… Thanks for the good customer service and tradesmanship … It was such a relief to have a trade actually do what they say they were going to do with no fuss and good service … You provide a really well-priced service, and we felt the job you did was thorough and well planned.’

On average, you can expect to be quoted $90 to $130 per lineal metre. For a standard residential home (~40 metres of guttering), that’s around $5,000. A larger property (~100 metres of guttering) will sit around $11,000. Keep in mind that replacing fascia and downpipes at the same time will increase the overall cost of the job.

Yes, it’s normally a good idea. If your roof needs replacing, your gutters almost certainly do too. Even if they’re still serviceable, the clash between new roof and old guttering isn’t visually attractive. Most Adelaide homeowners prefer to replace their roofs, gutters, fascia and downpipes at the same time – especially if they’re already investing in a COLORBOND roof surface.
Yes, you can, but it’s not a good idea. Gutters must be sized and pitched correctly to avoid pooling and overflow – unless you’re an engineer or roofer, you probably aren’t familiar with the right sizing calculations. You’ll also need to:
Most homeowners we talk to find it’s easier, cheaper and faster to have an experienced professional replace their guttering for them.
It depends on your insurance PDS and the cause of the gutter damage. If you have a standard home insurance policy, storm-related damage should be covered. Corrosion, rust, and age-related sagging will normally be excluded, though, as will damage from things like building works.
The easiest way to check is to view the inclusions and exclusions sections of your policy’s PDS.
The steeper your roof pitch, the faster runoff enters your gutters. That means steeper roofs need larger, deeper gutters to avoid splashing and overflow.
For Adelaide homes, the test prescribed by the National Construction Code is: can your gutters effectively remove rainfall hitting your roof at a rate of 120 millimetres per hour for at least 5 minutes? Using your roof catchment area, you can then calculate the correct gutter type and minimum cross-sectional area. If your home’s roof is particularly steep, you might need to have deeper-than-described guttering to accommodate the high velocity of the runoff.
